WATERTOWN, New York (WWNY) - If you’re considering hip or knee replacement surgery and think you have to leave the north country to get it done, think again.
Dr Biren Chokshi, an orthopedic surgeon with Samaritan Health, stopped by 7 News This Morning Wednesday to explain robotic surgery that can be done on knees and hips locally.
How good is the work? Dr. Chokski says 50 percent of his patients go home the same day they have the surgery.
You can get more information at samaritanhealth.com/orthopedics or by calling 315-779-6784.
