TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) - A tentative agreement between the Leon County Teachers Association and Leon County Schools has not been ratified, according to LCTA.

“The employees of the instructional bargaining unit have not ratified the tentative agreement between LCTA and LCS,” the teachers’ association announced in a social media post Wednesday morning.

The Wednesday announcement follows Scott Mazur, president of the teachers’ association, confirming the tentative agreement to WCTV last week . Mazur said LCTA was able to secure “several important language changes in the contract” as part of the tentative deal.
