With Massachusetts finally clear of whipping wind and rain from an October nor’easter, travel is slowly getting back to normal, though lingering gusting wind could cause issues.

On the MBTA, service on the Winthrop/Quincy ferry has resumed after two days of cancellations. But the ferries are running on a modified schedule due to rough seas. Service on the Lynn ferry is still suspended due to rough seas.

Ferries run by the Steamship Authority were up and running mostly as normal on Wednesday, after spotty service during the storm. Service to and from Martha’s Vineyard was still impacted, with all trips to and from Oak Bluffs diverted to Vineyard Haven.
