Michael J. Fox, the beloved Canadian-American actor best known for playing Marty McFly in the “Back to the Future” trilogy, has shared an update on the progression of his Parkinson’s disease, revealing he now struggles to walk.
Fox shared the news with The Sunday Times during a recent interview.
“I take it easy now,” he told the media outlet. “I don’t walk that much anymore. I can walk, but it’s not pretty and it’s a bit dangerous. So I just roll that into my life, you know- no pun intended.”
Fox was diagnosed with the neurodegenerative disease in 1991 when he was only 29 years old.
