FRISCO, Texas — Universal Kids Resort is giving us a first look at what the theme park will look like and what characters will be incorporated into the park's seven themed areas.

The park, which is slated to open in 2026 in Frisco, will feature seven different "lands," with each featuring a different character from Universal movies and shows. Universal Kids Resort is specifically designed for families with young children, the company said in a press release.

The release includes renderings and descriptions of the rides and activities families can expect to enjoy in the park.
