Good Wednesday. Historically, it is the third week of October that the Tennessee Valley gets the cold front that "permanently" knocks temps down to what we think of as fall levels, where we can break out the sweaters and jackets for good. That will take place on schedule this weekend, but until then we will have mild weather the rest of the week.

We will have more sunshine Thursday as we start cool in the mid to upper 50s and climb to a toasty high of 82. Friday will be mostly sunny. It will be a bit cooler in the morning in the low 50s, but then warm to a high of 81.

Ahead of our first front we will warm a little. Temps Saturday will range from 59 in the morning to 83 in the afternoon. Skies will be mostly cloudy.
