KINGSCOURT, Ireland – Gov. Andy Beshear is announcing a $61.2 million project coming to Glasgow, which is expected to bring 400 new full-time jobs to the area.
According to a release Wednesday, Beshear, along with leaders of Kingspan Group PLC, parent company of Tate, gathered at the company’s Ireland headquarters to confirm plans to locate Tate’s largest North American facility in Glasgow.
The $61.2 million project represents the largest job-creation announcement in Barren County in 18 years, officials say.
The manufacturing facility will be housed in a 764,000-square-foot building.
