MARANA, Ariz. (KVOA) - The Marana Police Department responded to a report of shots fired at the Gladden Farms Community Park on Tuesday morning.

According to MPD, a citizen at Gladden Farms Community Park, 12205 N. Tangerine Farms Road, made a report of what they believed to be gun shots on Oct. 15.

MPD responded to the scene and a preliminary investigation revealed that the gun shots came from a gun range nearby the park.

No injuries were reported in the incident.

MPD said the gun shots were accidental and there is no danger to the public.

The investigation is ongoing.
