PROVIDENCE – Rhode Island's own Young Republicans chapter is denouncing as "absolutely disgusting" a leaked text chain between individuals who identified as Young Republicans from other states.

As chairman of the Rhode Island Young Republicans, Ken Naylor said he "was shocked and appalled to see Rhode Island specifically targeted in the leaked messages ... [and] singled out with threats of violence by a group of thugs," Naylor said Wednesday, Oct. 15.
