SIOUX CITY (KTIV) - Hispanic Heritage Month runs from Sept. 15 to Oct. 15.
It’s a time to recognize the rich cultures, traditions, and contributions of Hispanic and Latino communities
For the second year in a row, Sioux City Mayor Bob Scott issued a proclamation officially recognizing Hispanic Heritage Month.
“The Hispanic community has had a profound influence on our community through strong commitment to family, faith, hard work, and services,” said Sioux City Mayor Pro-Tem Dan Moore.
The City of Sioux City proclaimed Sept. 15 through Oct. 15 as National Hispanic Heritage Month. The city acknowledged the amount of Hispanic Heritage in the community.
