CHICAGO (WLS) -- Loyola's Sister Jean will be laid to rest Thursday.
Sister Jean Dolores Schmidt served as the iconic chaplain to the Loyola University men's basketball team since 1994, and died Thursday at 106 years old.

Her Wednesday visitation brought people together to remember the iconic nun - known for her faith, kindness, compassion and of course for her love of Loyola University.
Mourners showed a mix of emotions during her visitation, reflecting on her smile that could fill a room and her positive attitude.
