INDIANAPOLIS — Residents across Indianapolis are waking up on Thursday and asking, "What's that smell?"

One popular comparison among FOX59/CBS4 staff and commentators online is that the air smells like fertilizer or manure. Those who've grown up in rural areas say it reminds them of farmland after manure has been spread on the fields.
