MINOT, ND (KXNET) — October is Cybersecurity Awareness Month, and one summit is back for the 5th year to share skills and knowledge with students.

Students from Minot State University's School of Business, Math, and Technology gathered Thursday for NODAKON, an annual cybersecurity event.

This all-day event featured three different speaker sessions, a keynote speech from a leading voice in cybersecurity, and an interactive incident response challenge for MSU students..

"This benefits the students in so many ways," said Kristi Berg, a professor with the MSU School of Business, Math, and Technology.
