WASHINGTON (WXIX) - Ohio Congressman David Taylor (R-02) blames an unidentified group or individual for the swastika flag that was found in his Capitol Hill office Wednesday.

According to Congressman Taylor, “numerous Republican offices” were “targeted” by this group or person who was allegedly passing out American flags with a swastika tied in to the red lines.

He says the symbol was “indistinguishable” from the American flag at first.

“After a full-scale internal investigation, I am confident that no employee of this office would knowingly display such a despicable image, and the flag in question was taken down immediately upon the discovery of the obscured symbol it bore,” Taylor wrote in a statement.
