The Mt. Hope High School girls' volleyball team was back it again earlier in the week, winning its latest two matches and improving to a stunning 15-0 overall on the 2025 season.

The Huskies had little trouble in dispatching visiting Pilgrim/Warwick, 3-0, in their annual "Pink Out" breast cancer awareness outing held in Bristol at Fitzgerald Gym Tuesday night, Oct. 14.

The locals defeated the visiting Patriots by the scores of 25-17, 25-13 and 25-6. Margaret Thorpe paced of Huskies to fill the stat sheet with nine kills, three digs and a pair of service aces. Lillian Konz had eight kills and an ace. Leah Marshall had a tremendous contest at the line, serving for 11 aces while chipping in six kills. Setter Gianna Lunney 15 assists, seven kills and three aces.
