KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — Before you hit the roads this weekend, 6 News anchor Bo Williams is breaking down what's impacting East Tennessee roadways from events in downtown Knoxville to construction across the region.

In Loudon County, the Tennessee Department of Transportation is warning drivers about upcoming bridge repair activities. Starting at 7 p.m. on Friday, October 17, I-40 will be reduced to one lane in each direction at MM 363 in Loudon County to allow for repairs to the bridge over Paw Paw Plains Road. The closure will last until 6 a.m. on Monday, October 20. This is the third and final weekend of bridge repair work in this area.
