Arrest warrant served: Pearl Road

A wanted Maple Heights man, 25, was arrested at about 3 p.m. Oct. 9 after the Buick Lacrosse he was driving hit a Nissan Versa traveling northeast on Pearl at Bagley Road.

A witness told police that the man was leaving the parking lot of Walgreens, 7260 Pearl, and was attempting to turn left onto Pearl when his Lacrosse hit the Nissan.

The Maple Heights man told police that after the crash, he backed his car into the Walgreens parking lot to speak with the other driver.

The other driver, however, believed the man was trying to flee. He said he pulled his car in front of the Maple Heights man’s car keep it from leaving.
