BELLEVUE, Ill. (WMBD) -- The Peoria County Sheriff's Office arrested a man after a several month long child pornography investigation on Thursday.

Rose Magnus, 26, was arrested for possession and distribution of child pornography, a Peoria County Sheriff's Office Facebook post said.

Detectives executed a search warrant on a residence near North Bellevue Avenue and West Plank Road on Thursday. During their search they allegedly located electronic devices that contained child pornography.

This arrest was part of a four month investigation that also involved search warrants on several digital accounts.

Magnus allegedly admitted to knowingly receiving and distributing images of child phonography on several online platforms, including Kik, Telegram, Dropbox and Session.
