Bellevue ( 25News Now ) - A Peoria County man is in jail for distributing child porn following a four-month investigation, police said.

Detectives arrested 26-year-old Rose Magnus on Thursday morning during a search at a Bellevue residence. While there, deputies found devices containing child porn.

Rose admitted to knowingly receiving and distributing images and videos of child porn on several social media platforms, including Kik, Telegram, Dropbox, and Session.

He faces charges of possession and distribution of child pornography.

Rose will remain in jail until his first court appearance.
