The UK clock change is set to trigger a big rise in staff sickness, employers have been warned.

Experts say putting the clocks back by an hour at the end of October disrupts people's circadian rhythms - our internal body clock - and can seriously impact physical and mental health.

In 2025, British Summer Time (BST) ends in the early hours of Sunday, October 26, and this is predicted to lead to an increase in employees calling in sick on Monday, October 27.
