OCALA, Fla. (WCJB) - A man in Marion County faces charges for resisting arrest after playing a game of hide and seek with law enforcement.
Deputies say Thursday, 43-year-old Ronnie Van Hove ran back into his home after deputies arrived and hid from them inside a hatch.
Hove had an active warrant in Sumter County for felony drug charges.
He refused multiple orders to come out.
When deputies found him, he was wrapped in wet towels.
Hove was arrested for the warrant.
He’s in the Marion County Jail, being held on a $5,000 bond.
