MINOT, N.D. (KMOT) - One person was injured in a shooting Saturday afternoon in southeast Minot.

Police said just after 3 p.m. they responded to a southeast Minot residence for reports of gunshots.

Officers found a male victim who was taken to the hospital. His status was not released.

Police said they have a suspect in custody.

A spokesperson for Minot PD said there is no known threat to the public and additional information will be released as it becomes available.
