PORTLAND, Ore. — A few people have been detained at the U.S. Customs and Immigration Enforcement (ICE) facility Saturday night, Portland police said.
One of the people detained was after a reported assault; the Portland Police Bureau did not give further details, only that officers are investigating the circumstances and trying to determine if there is probable cause to charge said suspect with a crime.
Later, police said two others were detained, pending investigation by officers, while one arrested person was being booked into jail.
The three people who were detained were booked into jail on criminal charges; police said that they will release further details later, but charges include fourth-degree assault, second-degree bias and harassment.
