WASHINGTON (Gray DC) - Thousands of protesters gathered near the U.S. Capitol to voice their anger with President Donald Trump’s second term.

The demonstration in Washington was one of more than 2,600 rallies organized in every state Saturday as part of the second “No Kings” movement against the Trump administration.

Phil Braswell, a 76-year-old demonstrator who lives in Washington, said he attended with a list of grievances about the country’s direction.

“This isn’t the country I knew when I grew up in the 60’s and 70’s and I don’t like the direction we’re headed,” Braswell said. “My knees still bend but I’m not going to bend to Trump.”
