COUNCIL BLUFFS, Iowa (WOWT) - One person was sent to the hospital after a hit-and-run crash in Council Bluffs Sunday morning.
According to the Council Bluffs Police Department, the crash happened just before 7 a.m. near the intersection of Hunter Avenue and North Broadway.
As a result of the investigation, it was found a truck had rear-ended a motorcycle.
CBPD says the driver of the truck fled the scene, but was located a short time later by police.
The driver of the motorcycle, a juvenile according to CBPD, was taken to the hospital with critical injuries.
Police say alcohol is a contributing factor in the crash.
