(FOX40.COM) — More than 10,000 specially-designed LEGO MRI scanner sets have been donated to hospitals worldwide, courtesy of the LEGO Group in partnership with several non-profit organizations, including Starlight Children’s Foundation.
“The set, which features a scanner, patient bed, waiting room, scanning room, staff minifigures and medical accessories, was designed by the LEGO Group and the LEGO Foundation to help children understand MRI procedures by learning through play,” said the LEGO Group and Starlight Children’s Foundation in a news release.
