COLONIE, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The Saratoga County Sheriff's Office is continuing its search for the suspect of a Ballston robbery that left a woman with a broken leg. On Saturday, law enforcement officers raided a Colonie hotel in an attempt to find 32-year-old Joseph Hess of Frankfort.

Just before 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Hess allegedly stole a pocketbook from a car in a McDonald's parking lot on Church Avenue. When a 76-year-old from Ballston Spa attempted to confront him, the suspect put his own car in reverse and hit the victim before leaving the scene, authorities said.
