RED HOOK, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- A Florida man was sent to the hospital with several injuries following a motorcycle versus car crash in Red Hook on Friday, according to the Red Hook Police Department. The incident reportedly occurred on South Broadway.
Red Hook police were dispatched to the scene in front of Savona's Trattoria just after 8 p.m. An investigation reportedly found that a Harley Davidson motorcycle was traveling southbound when a northbound Subaru attempted to make a left-hand turn into the Savona's parking lot, causing a head-on collision.
The 60-year-old operator of the Harley Davidson was ejected from the bike and taken to MidHudson Regional Hospital with several injuries, police said. The driver of the Subaru was reportedly not injured and was issued a traffic ticket for fail
