The 1-6 Miami Dolphins were blasted 31–6, by the now 2-5 Cleveland Browns at Huntington Bank Field, in a game that saw Miami head coach Mike McDaniel bench franchise quarterback Tua Tagovailoa late in the game. Down 31–6 in the fourth quarter, after Tagovailoa threw his third interception of the game, McDaniel inserted backup quarterback Quinn Ewers on the following drive.

Tagovailoa finished the game 12-of-23 for 100 yards, no touchdowns, and three interceptions.

All eyes now turn to Dolphins owner Stephen Ross and whether he’ll decide to cut ties with McDaniel , relieving the fourth-year head coach of his duties.
