ST. HELENA ISLAND, SC. (WTOC) - It has been a week since gunfire erupted in a crowd of hundreds on St. Helena Island.

Four people were killed outside of Willie’s Bar and Restaurant, and even more were injured.

There was a vigil for those victims and their loved ones on Saturday. It was a chance to honor their life and their memory.

People in the Beaufort County community came together outside Willie’s for a moment of solace, prayer, and with candles.

We’ve continued to press the sheriff’s office for answers. We’re still waiting for any arrests in this case to be announced. We’ll bring you that information as soon as we have it.
