MINOT, N.D. — A Minot man who escaped a burning mobile home is accused of starting the fire himself after allegedly throwing Molotov cocktails inside the residence early Saturday, police said.
According to the Minot Police Department, officers were called around 5:46 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 18, to a southeast Minot home after reports of individuals burning garbage outside. Evidence at the scene indicated Molotov cocktails had been thrown, sparking a fire near the home.
Moments later, another Molotov cocktail was believed to have been thrown inside, causing the mobile home to become engulfed in flames. Four people escaped the blaze, including Raymond D. Flynn, 36, who investigators suspect was responsible for starting it.
