BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - The Baton Rouge Police Department has identified the man killed in a shooting outside a McDonald’s restaurant on Airline Highway on Saturday, Oct. 18.

According to detectives, 22-year-old Sedrick Taylor was shot and killed around 11:15 a.m. in the 6900 block of Airline Highway, near Prescott Road.
Investigators believe the shooting happened during a narcotics transaction.
Police responded to reports of gunfire near the fast-food restaurant and found Taylor suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
