PORTLAND, Ore. — Shaedon Sharpe has agreed to a four-year, $90 million rookie contract extension with the Portland Trail Blazers, according to ESPN's Shams Charania .

The news broke shortly after Charania reported that forward Toumani Camara had reached agreement on a four-year contract extension for $82 million . The Blazers have locked up two critical players in Portland's young core. Camara is 25 and Sharpe is 22.

The Blazers drafted Sharpe with the seventh overall selection in the 2022 NBA draft. Last season, his third in the league, he averaged 18.5 points, 4.5 rebounds and 2.8 assists. Sharpe has played well in preseason for the Blazers this year, leading the Blazers in scoring with 19.3 points per game.
