An Amarillo man was killed in a one-vehicle rollover crash early Sunday in north Lubbock County.

Wyatt Reese Golden, 20, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash that was reported about 12:30 a.m. Sunday on the southbound frontage road of Interstate 27 near New Deal, according to a statement from the Texas Department of Public Safety.

Investigators believe Golden was driving a 2008 Lexus RX3 south on the frontage road when the vehicle left the roadway on the left side of the frontage road and overcorrected back toward the right.

The driver then lost control of the vehicle, which rolled before coming to a final rest. Investigators believe Golden was not wearing a seatbelt.

Other factors relating to the crash were not immediately clear as the investigation.
