(KRON) -- In-N-Out mania has officially gone global. The craze for the popular California-based burger joint has made its way to South Korea.
Hundreds of people waited in line last Wednesday in Seoul for In-N-Out's limited-time pop-up, multiple Korean news outlets report.
The pop-up was held on Oct. 15 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Gangnam District of Seoul, according to Korea JoongAng Daily. Approximately 500 burgers were sold, and the first customer in line arrived at 3 a.m. outside the Schedule Cheongdam, the restaurant where the pop-up was held.
It was reportedly on a first-come, first-served basis. The pop-up was announced only a day in advance, but that didn't stop a large crowd from planning their day to get a taste of the American burger phenomenon.
