Change was in the air today as we experienced the coldest temperatures since May. Morning lows dipped into the 40s, and highs only climbed into the 60s. Finally, a true taste of fall.
Monday will bring a brief break in our fall transition. Winds will shift to the south, ushering in mild and breezy conditions across the Ozarks. Temperatures will warm up but should top out in the mid-70s.
Another front will move through overnight Monday, bringing a fresh push of cold air. Some forecast models are hinting at the possibility of light showers Monday evening along the state line, but I’m not convinced just yet. It looks more likely that we’ll stay dry to start the week.
