A driver died on Sunday morning following a motor vehicle crash in Somerset County, police said.
A pickup truck and a car collided at 7:43 a.m. at the intersection of Easton Avenue and Cedar Grove Lane, the Franklin Township Police Department said in a statement.
The driver of the car, a 51-year-old Somerset resident, was pronounced dead at the hospital a short time later, officials said. The driver of the pickup truck did not suffer any injuries, authorities said.
The department has not released the circumstances of the crash as the investigation is ongoing.
