EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - It’s an event that’s been an annual tradition for over 25 years.

Officials at Mesker Park Zoo say Boo at the Zoo is one of their longest-running and most popular traditions.

Hundreds of kids and families came together for an early shot at some candy, and some time with animals.

Yesterday, however, zoo officials made the decision to close Boo at the Zoo for the day due to some scary weather.

But fear not! Zoo officials say that anyone who bought a ticket for October 18th may redeem it next weekend on October 24th, 25th, and 26th.

Officials say if you are unable to attend those other nights, they will gladly issue a full refund, but they hope everyone that can make it, does.
