Prince Andrew embroiled the Metropolitan Police and one of his mother’s most senior aides in a campaign to smear his teenage sex accuser, The Mail on Sunday has revealed.
Virginia Giuffre, who took her own life earlier this year, claimed the disgraced royal sexually abused her when she was just a teenager and being trafficked by Jeffrey Epstein.
Andrew is facing fresh scrutiny over allegations the ex-working royal used his tax-payer funded police protection to attempt to smear Ms Giuffre.
