The Ellis Library & Reference Center is hosting two events: Youth Maker’s Mart on Nov. 1 and Writers on the River on Nov. 2.
The Youth Maker’s Mart is set for 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday and Writers on the River is scheduled for noon to 3 p.m. Sunday, according to a community announcement.
Both events are free and open to the public.
The Youth Maker’s Mart will feature more than 30 young artists and crafters, ranging from kindergarten to 12th grade, showcasing their handmade creations. The young entrepreneurs will keep 100% of their proceeds.
Writers on the River to feature more than 50 authors
