PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- Fire crews battled a blaze at a Gresham apartment building early Monday morning, officials said.
Shortly after 3 a.m., Gresham fire said they responded to a second story apartment on West Powell Boulevard.
According to officials, there were two tenants in the apartment who were uninjured as well as two pets who needed to be given oxygen.
One of the pets was eventually transported to a vet hospital for care, officials said.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
