CANFIELD, Ohio (WKBN) - We also have new details on a fundraiser held over the weekend for the family of Trooper Cayton.

White House Fruit Farms in Canfield says it raised just over $12,000.

It was organized by Chase Welch, who performed for the crowd.

He also works for ODOT and was at the scene of the fatal crash for more than nine hours.

Welch says he wanted to do something to help and dedicated the proceeds to Cayton's family.
