AKRON, Ohio — 37-year-old Dareeque Dorman has been found guilty for the 2024 murder of Gregory McMullen, which happened inside a residence on Lindsay Avenue in Akron .
Summit County Prosecutor Elliot Kolkovich announced that Dorman was convicted by a jury of the following charges:
One count of murder
Two counts of felonious assault
One count of tampering with evidence
Judge Thomas Teodosio also found him guilty of three repeat violent offender specifications.
“This was a senseless act of gruesome violence,” said Prosecutor Kolkovich. “My deepest sympathies go to Gregory McMullen’s family during this difficult time as they grieve his loss.”
Dorman will be sentenced Nov. 14 at 12 p.m.
