King Charles was in Manchester today as he visited the survivors of the Crumpsall synagogue attack.

The King met with "heroes" from the Heaton Park Hebrew Congregation Synagogue, including Rabbi Daniel Walker, who resisted Jihad Al-Shamie's terror attack on October 2.

“I can’t tell you how sad I am,” the King told the group, which included the synagogue’s chairman Alan Levy, who helped to barricade the door, and its president Hilary Foxler.

Later on, as he met other members of the congregation, he could be heard saying "terrible thing to come out of the blue". View 3 Images
