LEDYARD, Conn. —

Numerous police agencies swarmed a hotel tower at Foxwoods Resort Casino in Connecticut on Monday morning.

Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation police said the situation was centered on a room in the property's Fox Tower. Video from outside the tower shows police cruisers parked in three lanes beside the lobby doors.

"An earlier incident at Fox Tower has been safely resolved," a spokesperson for the police department said in a statement. "Our team was able to enter the room without incident. We thank members of our Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation Police Department and the joint efforts of local and state agencies for their professionalism and quick action to resolve this matter."
