BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) — The Idaho Statesman is reporting that several children were among those detained Sunday at a horse racetrack in Wilder.
Federal agencies, including Immigration and Customs Enforcement, the Drug Enforcement Administration, the FBI, and Homeland Security, were accompanied by local and state agencies, including the Canyon County Sheriff’s Office, Nampa and Caldwell Police, and the Idaho State Police in a law enforcement action in the area Sunday afternoon.
The raid occurred at la Catedrawl Arena in Wilder, a local horse racetrack that is reportedly popular among the Spanish-speaking community west of Boise, according to the Idaho Statesman.
A number of people ranging from 500 to 1,000 were detained at the racetrack on Sunday, including an unknown number of children.
