Residents looking to take better control of their financial lives can mark their calendars for November, Financial Literacy Month, as the Kitchener Public Library (KPL) hosts a series of four free personal finance presentations.

The sessions, led by Fred Masters of Masters Money Management, are designed to address what Masters calls the “No. 1 source of stress for Canadians — money worries.” The talks target a diverse audience, from older teens to those in their 50s and beyond, but all require registration.

Local realtor Matthew Obal of Royal LePage Wolle Realty is supporting the initiative by providing 100 complimentary copies of Master’s book, “Lessons on Mastering Money,” to attendees across the four sessions.
