KENTUCKY. (WSAZ) - Kentucky will temporarily fund a program for families in need.
Today, Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear says due to the federal government shutdown, the state has not received money for temporary assistance for needy families for the month of November.
But, it is unlikely that the state will be able to help should the shutdown impact December funding.
Governor Beshear says that the state will request reimbursement for the money spent for November from the federal government once the shutdown is over.
