GRAND JUNCTION Colo. (KREX)- More than 70 people were given a second chance over the weekend during Mesa County’s second annual Warrant Forgiveness Day.
The event, hosted by the District Attorney’s Office, aimed to help individuals with outstanding warrants resolve their cases without the risk of arrest. In just three hours, officials helped clear more than 90 warrants, ranging from traffic violations and misdemeanors to felony cases that were put back on the court docket for proper handling.
