ROSEVILLE, Minn. — It's the 20th year of the Minnesota Millionaire Raffle , and the state lottery announced there are a few changes for the New Year's Day game.

Minnesota Lottery said that starting on Tuesday, 1 million tickets will go on sale throughout the state. The tickets, which cost $10, routinely sell out.

New this year, there are 20,000 prizes to be won and Minnesota Lottery says they have added a $20,000 prize to the list. They also say the odds of winning increased, and are now 1 in 50.

There are two $1 million prizes up for grabs. There are also five $100,000, $50,000, and $25,000 winning tickets. For the $20,000 prize, Minnesota Lottery says there will be 40 possible winners. There will be 13,483 tickets for a $50 prize.
